When muscles become stressed or over-used they can become tight, damaged and develop trigger points (knots). Remedial Massage provides relief from pain and begins the healing process within your body.
Remedial Massage aims to restore balance and maintain the body's normal function of the soft tissue structure - muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissue and can be applied as a preventative, corrective and/or rehabilitative phase of therapy.
Myofascial pain can be described as a "deep ache", "tightness" or "tenderness" in a particular area. The intensity of the pain can vary as will the occurrence of referred pain in other areas.
